HRH Princess Sirivannavari Leads Thai Equestrian Team to capture Silver and Bronze medals at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 (2023)
Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya led the Thai equestrian team to achieve remarkable success at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
The event, which took place from September 26toOctober4,2023,witnessedtheoutstanding performance of Thai equestrians with the support of HRH Princess Sirivannavari. In this prestigious competition, HRH Princess Sirivannavari not only offered support but also led the talented Thai equestrian athletes. The team showcased their exceptional skills and prowess, both in riding and handling the high-performance horses under the Royal Stable unit of Thailand. Notably, Captain Supap Khaw-ngam, riding Canadian Club M, and Sergeant Major Preecha Khunjan, riding Claire de Lune Blanc RW, achieved outstanding results, securing two medals.
The medals were awarded in the Eventing category, with Korntawat Samran earning the silver medal in the Individual Eventing, and the Team Eventing, consisting of Captain Supap Khaw-ngam, Sergeant Major Preecha Khunjan, Weerapat Pitakkanonda, and Korntawat Samran, claiming the bronze medal in the Team Eventing. This exceptional achievement demonstrates the remarkable talent and dedication of the Thai equestrian team and reflects the excellent leadership and support provided by HRH Princess Sirivannavari.
